Our Testimonials

A dear friend spent her last four months here and she couldn't have been in a better place. All the staff went the extra mile and made her time enjoyable and as comfortable as possible and when the end came, they ensured she wasn't alone. I can't praise them enough for the care and attention they gave and give to all their residents. It's a very happy place. Thank you all. Friend of a resident
My mother has been living at Brookfield for the past four years. The care she has received has been second to none, from the manager, right through to all the carers, they have been outstanding. My mother has very complex needs, including dementia. I do believe that because the care home is of a smaller capacity, the care and one to one attention she receives has been perfect for her needs. She just wouldn't get that if she were in a larger home. It really has a home from home feel about it. I couldn't imagine her anywhere else, to be honest. Excellent. Family member
Mum was very well cared for by all the staff. We never have to worry when she goes to Friars Lodge for respite as she is well looked after and the staff are wonderful. Family member
Fantastic staff and management who do a great service looking after my mother's welfare and needs. Simply, you can’t get a better home for your loved one. Mum has no complaint about food or staff. Keep up the good work. Family member
I cannot speak highly enough of Tudor House and would recommend it unconditionally. Family member
There are no words that can say how amazing The White House and its staff have been. We were so very lucky to have been able to get our mother into this care home. Family member
I would simply wish to emphasise the impeccable standards of care shown to all residents. Friend of a resident
This is a home from home and mum is very happy here. Family member
My parents have been at Brookfield for almost two years. This was the first home out of sixteen visited, that would allow mum and dad to sleep together in a double bed. My husband and I immediately felt a sense of warmth and homeliness. Of course when your in you 96th and 93rd year to live somewhere completely different from what you are accustomed to takes a great deal of patience on both sides. Dads hobby is mending clocks which he continues to do when the mood takes him. Mum, 93, has dementia and has different needs which are attended to. Their room is adorned with their own personal family photos and they have their own TV and phone. The staff are extremely thoughtful and caring. Angie the manager does not sit in her office all day but is hands on and knows her residents inside out. I feel assured that mum and dad are well cared for and can relax in the knowledge. I have no hesitation in recommending Brookfield. Daughter of a resident

Very happy to be here. Resident
The staff are all 100% in there work i.e. caring for residents, making sure everbody is comfortable, clean, very personal with residents. Warm approach to residents family and friends and the fact I myself do not have to worry about my mother, knowing the staff sort everything out. Son of a resident
Staff are very helpful and kind. The view that surrounds the care home is lovely. I like the fact that I am encouraged to stay in contact with my friends and can go out. The food is lovely and the fact we get to have a say about what our menus are, is great. I like the fact I am encouraged to be as independent as possible as well as having the help I need. Resident
The care of my 95 year old mother who was terminally ill was second to none. The home catered for her needs in every way, bending over backwards in many cases when she wasn't eating, they would try and find something that she would fancy. Myself and other members of the family could come and visit as often as we pleased. They made her final months as comfortable as could possibly be. Daughter of a resident
My mother has now been resident in this care home since 2005, following a stroke, and during that time she has been cared for extremely well and she is very happy there. There have been quite a lot of changes to manager and staff in that time. But I feel they have been changes for the better and I cannot fault the care my mother receives, Daughter of a resident
